We Are Closing Down!

Our landlord in Winchelsea, Anthony Nardi of Geelong, has declined to renew our shop lease for reasons unknown and without cause. Accordingly, we are being forced to close permanently. Our last trading day will be 29th April (Monday).

We'd like to thank our patrons over the last four and a half years. We've received a LOT of positive feedback about our shop and our food, it does seem that our concentration on locally made produce results in exceptional quality and taste.

We'd also like to thank our staff - great food and coffee are pointless unless people enjoy ordering and receiving it. With only one or two exceptions, we've been very lucky with the calibre of people that have worked with and for us. We wish them all, past and present, all the best in future.

Finally, we must thank our suppliers. Again with only one or two exceptions, dealing with smaller-scale suppliers gives a much more personable and enjoyable relationship. All the best to our suppliers in these difficult times, with Big Corporate increasingly swinging things in their favour because they have the money and time to do so. Support your local and independent producers or you will lose them.
